1、 Overview
At present, obtaining truly representative groundwater samples and groundwater samples containing volatile organic compounds remains a challenge in groundwater sampling.HB-D18The pneumatic depth sampler can take representative groundwater samples from floating oil and other substances, and can take groundwater samples at any depth within the range set by this sampler. Due to the small vertical mixing of water at different depths in the well, sampling directly from one depth can collect the most representative samples of the aquifer at that depth.
2、 The structural principle of the instrument
1. Instrument structure principle
HB-D18The pneumatic depth sampler consists of a stainless steel sampling container, nylon pipeline, pipeline reel (winch), manual air pressure pump or nitrogen cylinder, and inlet/outlet valve. Refer to Figure 1.
The structure of the stainless steel sampling container is shown in Figure 2.
Figure 2HB-D18Pneumatic controlled groundwater depth sampler
The sampling container mainly consists of an upper joint, a bottom check valve, a guide plate, a sampling cylinder, a float valve, an inflation pipeline joint, etc.
The working principle is to inflate the sampler with a high-pressure manual pump or nitrogen cylinder before entering the well to prevent water from entering the sampler before it reaches the predetermined depth. After reaching the required depth, slowly release the gas and fill the sampler with water in the sampling area under the action of static water pressure in the water column. There is a float check valve inside the sampling tube. When the water is full, the float check valve closes to prevent water from entering the pipeline.
2. Instrument parameters
1) The maximum sampling depth
When inflating with a manual pump, the water is 100M underwater; Nitrogen cylinder type can reach up to 300M underwater
2) Sampling capacity 1L/time~5L/time.
3) The outer diameter of the sampler is 50mm to 80mm.
